WordPress is easy. Except it’s not. I have owned this website for over a year and this is my fifth post. Between working, being a mom (sending my oldest off to college far, far away), trying to ride horses, and life in general, learning the intricacies of WordPress has been close to the bottom of my list. Quilting has also been at the bottom of my list.
It is time to change that. So I figured out how to make my site look close to what I wanted and how to get rid of the Sample Page (really, I was that clueless). It’s not perfect, but it’s looking better. Therefore, I am finally publishing it and will continue working on it and writing consistently. Lots of interesting things happening in my horse life to share. Actually, they may not be all that interesting, but this is my challenge to myself. Read or not. You may like my writing, you may hate my writing. There are so many good horse blogs out there. This is just my journey. I’ll explain more why I think it’s important to share in a near-future post.
In the meantime, I have a little quilting to do. After all, it’s all about balance.
